Our story.
Ever tried finding a place to live that fits your not-so-typical schedule?
Our journey
When my wife and I left the Air Force to go back to school, we discovered that finding a mid-term rental was the wild west of the rental market. We could choose between properties that were either prohibitively expensive with massive fees tacked on or completely unverified with very little guarantee of quality or legitimacy. Although we eventually found a place we could afford, it was not without significant difficulty and a bit of blind trust that could have gone very wrong. This was a problem that needed to be fixed, and we started MatchBook to do just that. Three years later, with the help of an amazing team, we have created a platform that makes connecting hosts with renters safer, simpler, and more affordable.
What we believe
At MatchBook, we’re reshaping the rental experience by putting people first. Whether you’re offering or seeking flexible housing, our mission is to make the process transparent, stress-free, and fair for everyone involved.
We value transparent communication and ethical practices. No hidden fees or misleading listings.
Our platform makes finding or listing flexible housing smooth and straightforward.
We prioritize long-term partnerships over quick gains for both customers and team members.
We deliver services that matter without the fluff, starting with trust and clarity.
We aim to make renting not just fair, but genuinely enjoyable for hosts and renters alike.
What makes us different
We stand out by offering a complete solution to common rental challenges, unlike others who leave you to figure out the complexities on your own & charge you an arm and a leg for their help.
MatchBook integrates essential features into one platform accessible for all budgets.
Looking ahead
We’re so excited you’re here. Your stories, insights, and experiences have been key in shaping MatchBook and we want you to know that we’re dedicated to providing you with a platform that doesn’t just meet your needs but makes you wonder how we ever lived without it.
