MATCHBOOK REFERRAL PROGRAM TERMS
(SUPPLEMENT TO MATCHBOOK TERMS AND CONDITIONS)

These MatchBook Referral Program Terms (the “Referral Terms”) govern your participation in the MatchBook referral program (the “Program”) offered by MatchBook, LLC (“MatchBook,” “we,” or “us”). These Referral Terms supplement and form part of the MatchBook Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated into the Agreement by reference.
BY ACCESSING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE REFERRAL TERMS AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THEM. YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT, POWER, AND AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO THESE REFERRAL TERMS AND, IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANIZATION, THAT YOU HAVE THE LEGAL AUTHORITY TO BIND THAT ORGANIZATION. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE REFERRAL TERMS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM.
IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE: THESE REFERRAL TERMS INCLUDE DISPUTE RESOLUTION REQUIREMENTS. ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION, WITH NO JURY TRIAL AND NO CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS, AS DESCRIBED IN SECTIONS 19 AND 20 OF THE MATCHBOOK TERMS AND CONDITIONS. BY CLICKING “I ACCEPT” OR BY ACCESSING OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE REVIEWED THOSE PROVISIONS AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
Definitions. Capitalized terms used but not defined in these Referral Terms have the meanings given to them in the MatchBook Terms and Conditions.
“Account” means a MatchBook Host account created in accordance with the MatchBook Terms and Conditions.
“Booking” means a rental property or unit published on MatchBook by the Referred Host.
“Referring User” means a MatchBook Userwho shares a Referral Link under this Program.
“Referred Host” means a new Host who signs up using a Referral Link and satisfies all host requirements under the MatchBook Terms and Conditions.
“Referral Link” means the unique URL assigned to each Referring Host that enables MatchBook to track referrals.
“Qualifying Booking” means the first completed and confirmed Booking created by a Referred Host.
“Qualified Referral” means a referral that meets all conditions in Section 4.
“Reward” means the fifty dollar payment issued to a Referring User after MatchBook confirms a Qualified Referral.
Program Overview. The Program allows eligible MatchBook User to invite new hosts to join the Platform. Referring User may earn a Reward when a Referred Host signs up through a Referral Link and completes a Qualifying Booking.
These Referral Terms describe eligibility, limitations, payout requirements, prohibited conduct, and fraud review procedures.
Eligibility to Participate. To participate in the Program, you must:
have an Account that is in good standing.
be located in the United States.
comply with all applicable MatchBook Terms and Conditions and comply with applicable laws.
A Referred User must be new to the MatchBook Platform and must not have previously created or registered an Account. MatchBook may verify eligibility at any time.
Qualified Referrals. A referral qualifies for a Reward only when all of the following conditions are met:
The Referred Host signs up through a valid Referral Link.
The Referred Host creates a new and unique Account.
The Referred Host publishes a Listing that satisfies all MatchBook requirements.
The Referred Host completes a Qualifying Booking.
MatchBook determines that the referral is legitimate and free from prohibited conduct.
Only the Referring User whose Referral Link is used first during the Referred Host’s signup will receive credit for the Qualified Referral. If multiple Referring Users share Referral Links with the same individual, MatchBook will award credit solely based on the first Referral Link used at signup and will not adjust or reassign credit based on subsequent activity or claims.
Referral Links and Acceptable Use. Referral Links may be used only for personal and lawful purposes. Referring Users may not:
distribute Referral Links through automated tools, bots, scripts, or paid ads.
post Referral Links on coupon websites, deal aggregators, or unauthorized public directories.
misrepresent their relationship with MatchBook.
share Referral Links in a deceptive or misleading manner.
engage in any conduct that MatchBook determines to be abusive or fraudulent.
MatchBook may disable Referral Links at any time.
Fraud Review and Prohibited Conduct. MatchBook may review referrals at any time to detect fraud, abuse, or prohibited activity. A referral will be rejected if MatchBook detects or determines any of the following:
shared or identical IP addresses between the Referring User and Referred Host.
shared or identical devices or device identifiers.
shared payout information, banking credentials, or payment methods.
artificial, manipulated, or fictitious Bookings.
coordinated attempts to influence referral tracking.
any conduct inconsistent with the MatchBook Terms and Conditions or these Referral Terms.
MatchBook’s fraud determinations are final and binding.
Rewards and Payout Requirements. The Reward for each Qualified Referral is fifty dollars ($50). There is no limit on the number of Rewards a Referring User may earn. Rewards are paid periodically through MatchBook’s approved payout providers.
All Referring Users must complete payout setup in order to receive Rewards. Failure to complete payout setup in accordance with the requirements below will result in forfeiture of the Reward.
Ninety Day Payout Setup Requirement:
If the Referring User does not complete payout setup within ninety days after a Reward is earned, the Reward is forfeited and will not be reinstated.
MatchBook may withhold or revoke a Reward if the referral is under investigation or if MatchBook determines that the referral does not meet Program requirements.
Taxes. Rewards may be taxable. Referring Userss are responsible for tax reporting and payment. MatchBook may require a Form W-9 or other tax documentation.
Privacy. Information collected in connection with the Program is handled in accordance with the MatchBook Website Privacy Policy https://matchbookrentals.com/privacy-policy. MatchBook may process the information necessary to administer the Program, verify referrals, monitor Program activity, and prevent fraud.
Referring Users may only share a Referral Link with individuals who have provided their prior written consent to receive the Referral Link. Referring Userss must not provide MatchBook with any personal information about a Referred Host unless the Referred Host has given prior written consent for that disclosure.
MatchBook may review, verify, and process referral-related information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the MatchBook Website Privacy Policy.
Changes to the Program. MatchBook may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time. Any updates to the Program will be posted on the MatchBook website and will take effect when posted unless otherwise stated. MatchBook may also modify eligibility requirements, Reward amounts, payout schedules, or other Program terms at its discretion.
Rewards earned before the effective date of termination will be honored if the Referring User completes payout setup within the ninety day requirement. After termination, no new referrals will qualify for Rewards.
No Agency Relationship. Participation in the Program does not create an agency, partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or any other form of legal association between the Referring User and MatchBook. Referring Users act independently and are not authorized to make representations or commitments on behalf of MatchBook.
Limitation of Liability. The limitation of liability set forth in the MatchBook Terms and Conditions applies in full to the Program and is incorporated into these Referral Terms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchBook shall not be liable for any claims arising out of or relating to the Program beyond the limitations described in the MatchBook Terms and Conditions.
Relationship to MatchBook Terms and Conditions and Conflicting Terms. These Referral Terms supplement the MatchBook Terms and Conditions. The MatchBook Terms and Conditions continue to apply to the Program except to the extent these Referral Terms expressly provide additional or different terms. If there is a conflict between these Referral Terms and the MatchBook Terms and Conditions, these Referral Terms will control for matters related to the Program.
